Abstract

3D printing technology is a new intelligent construction technology emerging in recent years. It has the characteristics of flexibility, convenience, and green environmental protection, and is widely used in the construction field. In response to the national call for low carbon and environmental protection, this paper carried out an experimental study on the printability of solid waste concrete based on 3D printing technology. Through the printing height, strip width, printing opening time, and flow expansion test, the effects of the number of additives such as water reducer, fiber, and thickener and the water-binder ratio on the printability of solid waste mixture were analyzed. The test results show that increasing the amount of water-reducing agent and water-binder ratio can significantly improve the flow performance of the material and prolong the printing opening time. However, considering the buildability of the material, the water-binder ratio should be 0.35, and the amount of water-reducing agent should not exceed 1%; The effect of fiber and thickener is similar. The addition of both will improve the construction performance of the material, but at the same time will lead to a decrease in the fluidity of the mixture. Therefore, the content of fiber and thickener should not exceed 0.50% and 0.04%, respectively; The construction height, strip width, and opening time of the mixture are linearly correlated with the fluidity, and the printability of the material can be evaluated by the fluidity. The fluidity of the test solid waste mixture should be 155 ˜ 182 mm.
