Abstract
3D concrete printing technology has been the subject of numerous experiments, ut few have yet been integrated into projects occupied by users. This paper describes the integration of solutions in buildings in France, by construction company spie batignolles emPrinte and engineering office setec, from the use of XtreeE technology. Four experiments are shown. The first is the 3D printed formwork for the supporting columns of the roof of the Aubervilliers swimming pool in France. The second is the formwork for the ground floor columns of an three-story high building in Vitrolles, France where the printed skin is considered as taking part as the concrete cover. Finally reservation systems in walls and beam nodes. The document discusses the advantages and disadvantages of these solutions, and the technical difficulties encountered, in particular the question of mixing concretes of different ages and properties. It also explores the scientific approach to move from permanent formwork to elements contributing to the resistance and durability of the structure.
